Because of relentless misrepresentation and harassment of sponsors and producers by our ex-agent, coupled with her conscious malicious attempts to mislead the general public with her own wrongful interpretion of legal documents, we requested this Certification from the Intellectual Property Office and it was released on October 14, 2009. 

What she really had was JUST a notice that the Opposition that we filed last year (to defend our name) was dismissed WITHOUT PREJUDICE, meaning we could re-file and make use of other courses-of-action which are part of the IPO’s legal process as the case continues. Notice also that this Certification is signed by the same IPO Director that also signed the notice of Dismissal, not because this contradicts the set of documents that our ex-agent has been parading around town, but because with regards to her being an ‘applicant’, the case being pending, and that no Entry of Judgement/Execution has been issued, the documents carry the same meaning. Wala naman pong nakalagay, kahit saan sa mga dokumentong kinakalat ni Ms. Nakpil na na-award na po sa kanya ang pangalang Rivermaya. 

Hindi pa tapos ang proseso, hindi pa tapos ang laban. Hindi siya ang may-ari ng Rivermaya.
